Idiomsy is a new way to learn languages based on studying live language, in order to speak in a natural and non-academic way. Through this brief tutorial you will learn and understand how Idiomsy works and how to use the available tools. Shall we start?

What language do you want to learn? Choose your language..
Choose the most appropriate level for you.
Having chosen the language and level you can start studying. Now go to the lessons. You can choose to change the language or level at any time. Click on Languages to learn from Dashboard.
Each lesson has 3 Fast Tracks with a common theme. In each of these there is a short text with coloured links that correspond to different categories: grammar, vocabulary, live language and culture.
Choose your first Fast Track and start the lesson.
You can also access the Fast Track from the Dashboard at the bottom of the page.
Read the text and then click on any link to access the explanation and exercises.
Each link belongs to a category that can be identified by its colour.
Under the text you can find the translation.
Logically, it is best to start from the grammar link but you are also free to choose to start from other categories should you prefer.
For example proceed with Hold on link in the living languages category.
You clicked on Hold on. Read the first slide and continue.
You have finished the educational slides so now you can start the exercises.
Take all the time you need to do the exercises. When you are sure of the answer, click confirm.
You have finished the exercises. You can receive a gold, silver or bronze egg.

After completing the 3 Fast Tracks you can access the Skill Up. In each category there is revision and further information on elements covered in the 3 Fast Tracks.
The dictionary of phrases and idioms allows you to have an immediate translation in various languages of idiomatic expressions, sayings and general use of the language. Every element is presented with the same example in every language. Click on Like to save your favourite phrases.
On the first page you will find a list of random idioms in various languages.
Click on the phrase you like to find out its corresponding translation in other languages.
On the following page you will find idiomatic expressions in other languages exactly how they should be used.
If for example you search for the word dog, the system gives you all expressions that use this word.
